Job duties within the township’s public works department are being revised.
The announcement was made in an email sent by Chief Administrative Officer Lori Heinbuch late Tuesday morning, Jan. 3.
She wrote that Wellington North Council had decided upon the revisions after “considerable review and discussion.”
The position of director of public works will now “reflect only the duties related to water and sewer” under the job title of water and sewer superintendent. The position of roads superintendent be responsible for all duties related to roads.
