A 66-year-old Brampton woman was killed crossing Williams Parkway just before 10 p.m. Monday, Peel Regional Police report.

Phuong Troung was crossing from the north side of the road at 9:53 p.m. when she was hit by a westbound 2007 blue Chevrolet which was approaching Oxtail Lane, according to police.

She was rushed to Brampton Civic Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

No charges have been laid.
