Robyn Barnes continues to make a splash with the Owen Sound Aquatic Club.
The dedicated 13-year-old swimmer is a Grade 8 student at Egremont Community School, and travelled to Bracebridge on Dec. 10 to compete in the annual Dash For Cash swim meet.
Robyn started her event with a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke for 13-14 girls, and followed it with a second bronze medal finish in the 200m breaststroke.
She also earned a seventh place finish in the backstroke at the Dash For Cash competition.
Robyn practices up to five times a week, often making 5:30 a.m. trips to the pool in Owen Sound.
She is only a second year member of her aquatic club, and is currently working hard in training for the annual club meet slated to be held this February in Guelph.
