Maintaining their iron grip on first place in Thursday Night Mens League play at Mount Forest Bowling centre, the Re-Jects won session one with 60 points. The Leaflets were just shy with 58 points, the Solos had 49, the Rednex had 48, the Headhunters had 46, Budwisers had 39, and the Bowling Stones hit rock bottom with 37 points.
Dale McConnell closed out 2011 with an inspired run, earning high singles of 310 and 309 on Dec. 22 and Dec. 29. Dale’s 780 was high triple last week, while Chris Lawrence rolled a 674 high triple on Dec. 22.
Top games over 220 were: Fred Donkersgoed 284 and 237, Mike Cooper 270, Rob McCarthy 260, Dale McConnell 252, Chris Lawrence 248 and 229, Larry Caudle 245, Rick Donkersgoed 238, Wayne Robinson 232, Ivan Lawrence 225, Fred Enge 224 and 221, Dan Whetham 222, and Gary McArthur 221.

CLUB?55-PLUS
Although their 35 points was enough to claim a series two title, Bowlderdash took second after their first-place finish in series one. Awsome happily wear the crown with 32 points, the Happy Ones and Wrens share third with 30, Flinstones had 28, the High Rollers had 25, Rowdy had 24, and the Jets ran out of fuel on the runway with 20 points this series.
Fred Enge stayed in the spotlight with 259 and 272 high singles over the past two weeks, while Neil Connelly and Bill Petropoulos rolled 705 and 624 triples, respectively. Bernadette Campbell led the ladies with a 234 top single and 587 top triple, while last week Jean Kuehn’s 200 was the top single and Linda Bowman’s 529 was the ladies top triple.

Oh yes, it happens, and ‘It Happens owned first place and 31 points to win session two. The No Names took second with 27 points, the Drifters were third with 26, Dreamers and Rebels both had 25, the Pushups had 23, Hoppers had 21, and the J Jars finished with 18 points.
Over the past two weeks, Gary McArthur posted a 313 high single and Dwayne Hibbert rolled a 323 single for the men. Sheryl Jette hit a 268 top single and 639 top triple, and Rita Doig rolled a 231 single for the ladies. Guy Jette and Joe Reynolds struck for 796 and 699 high triples, respectively.
